We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase from Bjs. This Return Policy describes our guidelines and procedures for returning products purchased on our website.

Please review this Policy before making purchases. By placing an order with Bjs, you agree to be bound by this Return Policy.

2. Returns Overview

Most unopened products in new condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. We also gladly accept returns of defective, damaged or incorrectly shipped items.

Some types of goods have different return requirements or may not qualify for return to Bjs. Please see Sections 3-6 for category-specific details.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the return.

3. General Return Requirements

Please have your order information available. We will provide return instructions specific to each order.

You must return items to us within 10 calendar days of receiving return instructions. Return instructions will include the return address to use. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring your return.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect returned items, we will process the appropriate refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days from receiving your return to process your refund.

4. Returns by Category

Clothing and Shoes

Unworn clothing and shoes may be returned in new condition with original tags attached. Footwear must be unsoiled with original box included. Intimate apparel may not be returned for health reasons.

Furniture and Home Goods

Furniture, rugs, bath items, bedding and other large home goods may be returned in original packaging if unused with no damage or defects. Reboxing fees may apply.

Grocery

Unopened, unused grocery items may be returned as long as they are not perishable or restricted items. See section 6 for prohibited returns.

Electronics

Unopened electronic devices may be returned in factory condition with original packaging and accessories. We recommend repackaging carefully for protection. A restocking fee may apply.

Toys and Games

Unopened toys, games and sporting goods may be returned with all original parts, instructions, tags and packaging. For health reasons, some items cannot be returned once opened.

Beauty and Cosmetics

Unopened makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrances may be returned excluding membership sets. For health reasons, beauty items that were tested or opened cannot be returned.

5. Reasons for Returning an Item

We will happily accept returns for the following reasons:

Certain items are not eligible for return due to health, safety or applicable laws.

7. Return Process for Defective/Damaged Items

If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrectly shipped item, please contact Bjs Customer Service right away providing order details and images of damage where applicable.

Refunds

Once we confirm a manufacturing defect, refund of the full purchase price will be issued within 5-10 business days. If damage occurred during use by customer, only partial refund may be given.

For valid quality issues, we will reimburse return shipping fees to customer upon request.

8. Exchanges

If you received a defective, damaged or incorrect item, you may choose to exchange it rather than return for refund.

To exchange an item:

Exchanges are subject to availability and pricing at time of request. If the exchange results in a higher total, you will be charged the difference. Only one exchange attempt is allowed per original order.

9. How We Handle Wrong or Damaged Orders

If we make a mistake or item arrives damaged, let us know within 3 calendar days of delivery via email or phone. Please hold onto all packaging materials and damaged goods.

Once we confirm the error or damage was our fault, you will have two options:

1. Exchange – Keep the original item(s) and we will ship replacements immediately upon report.

2. Refund – Return the original item(s) per our instructions for a full refund of the purchase price plus reimbursement of your return shipping cost upon request.

We aim to make returns hassle-free if we messed up your order. Our team will provide a prepaid return label or specific instructions to exchange the incorrect or damaged products. Please help us quickly resolve any errors or issues – we appreciate your patience and understanding.

10. Refund Methods

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at time of purchase. Allow 5-10 business days from receipt of returns to process the refund.

Credit/Debit Card

Refunds to debit or credit cards may take 2-3 additional days to post to your account via your bank’s systems.

Third Party Payment

Returns paid via PayPal, Affirm, etc. will be refunded to the associated third party account. Refund timing depends on their processing.

Bjs Gift Cards

Returns paid with a Bjs gift card will be refunded to the original gift card used. Allow 3 calendar days for gift card refunds to become available on card balance.

Store Credit

If you do not have the original payment method or prefer store credit, let Customer Service know. Store credit refunds by check may take an additional 1-2 weeks for processing and mailing.

11. Return Shipping

The customer pays for return shipping unless the return is needed due to a Bjs order error or product defect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing insurance in case of loss or damage in transit. We are unable to reimburse return shipping costs unless required by state law.

Bjs is not responsible for return packages lost in transit. We will issue refunds only upon delivery and verification of returned orders. Be sure to follow provided return instructions carefully.

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will process the applicable refund to your original payment method used for purchase.

12. Modification and Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Return Policy at any time in the future. If any changes made affect returns submitted prior to the update, we will notify customers via email.
